Christian Campanella, HR Director – Pernod Ricard Winemakers – has been named HR Director of the Year at the Australian HR Awards on Friday night at a black-tie event at Sydney’s The Star.

Christian was one of eight nominees in the category, taking out the top award over finalists from across the wine and spirits industry as well as financial services, entertainment, and technology sectors.

The Pernod Ricard Winemakers graduate program was also recognised at the event as a finalist for the highly competitive Best Graduate Program award, which included nominations from food and drink competitors, financial institutions and more.

The Australian HR Awards define excellence in the HR profession, recognising and highlighting the outstanding achievements of those at the forefront of industry best practice and leadership.

Each nomination goes through a rigorous vetting process, and once nominations close, the Australian HR Awards team conducts their own research to supplement nominations and chooses finalists for each of the categories. Each of the finalists is then required to provide an online submission to an independent panel of judges, comprising of HR Directors and industry leaders who score the submissions. The finalists with the highest scores in each category win.

Winning an Australian HR Award is a career-defining moment for HR professionals and teams across Australia – congratulations to Christian and the Graduate Team on their success.
