At Pernod Ricard Winemakers, we understand that families come in all different shapes and sizes. Our Parental Leave Policy embraces this by providing inclusive family support, regardless of gender or gender identity, and includes support for same-sex couples, single parents and blended families with the inclusion of adoption, surrogacy, foster care and kinship care.

As one of the first companies in Australia to be certified with Family Friendly Workplaces, we’re excited to share that we’ve made further inclusions to our Parental Leave Policy to ensure it offers greater balance, inclusiveness and wellbeing for our people.

Today, in addition to 15 weeks paid primary carers leave and 4 weeks non-primary carers leave, we now also offer:

👨‍👦 3 weeks superannuation on the unpaid portion of primary carers leave
👩‍👩‍👦 Full and short term parental leave for Foster or Kinship Care (up to age 5)
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 6 weeks Surrogate and Adoption leave to support our people who will not become the child’s carer with recovery post-childbirth

In addition, parental leave can also be taken flexibly, rather than in a single continuous period, and is available within the first 24-months of a child entering the family.

We know that things don’t always go to plan, and we are here to support our families that may be impacted through pregnancy loss. In addition to 2 weeks bereavement leave for early pregnancy loss, we now offer full parental leave entitlement for perinatal loss post 20 weeks.
